Generative AI may be used as a supporting tool for research, source discovery, language refinement, translation, structure, or visual ideation.

The editorial policy requires human review and approval before publication. Thierry Gilgen retains editorial judgement, interpretation, argument and responsibility. An individual publication record identifies the reviewer, date and scope when supplied; an unrecorded review remains unrecorded. A list of structured sources is not a review attestation, and assistance described in a workflow is not automatically assistance used to write its article.

AI assistance does not replace source verification. Where an article relies on external facts, claims, studies, or reporting, the relevant sources should be cited or made traceable wherever reasonably possible.

AI-generated or materially AI-altered visuals may be identified in their caption or accompanying metadata when their synthetic nature could affect how the image is understood.
