Maker’s Seal Constitution

Purpose

The Maker’s Seal is not a logo. It is a mark of responsibility.

It certifies that a work was produced according to the constitutional principles of the Gilgen Studio Library. It certifies process rather than perfection.

Maker’s Seal construction: circular boundary and origin point under measurement.

The promise

Every work carrying the seal promises that it was observed before judged, measured before decided, built before promoted, and published only when the maker was prepared to stand behind it.

Edition I

Edition I geometry is approved: Prototype 02 / 02a Horizontal Field. The mark may appear at certification scale in the Library.

Physical supplier samples remain a recommended follow-up. They do not revoke digital Edition I approval. The seal still belongs to the standard, not to a person.

Use

The seal belongs to the standard, not to a person. It appears only where certification is earned — never as decoration, never as homepage branding, never as a substitute for editorial honesty.
